Coronavirus Update

Coronavirus Update

At the moment we are operating very differently to normal and cannot see a return to normality any time soon. We hope the information below will hope you to still access our services and goods and support us through these tricky times.

Current Situation

Sales of Wool, craft kits, JumpingCLAY kits and other supplies

We are selling these online not through a shop or website but through people emailing us, messaging us through social media or calling us up. These can be delivered on foot, collected from the studio at an allocated time slot or posted at cost via royal mail tracked second class delivery.

Virtual Group Teaching

We are currently teaching a limited range of workshops and courses online for all ages via Zoom that can be accessed on your phone, tablet or computer. These are bookable through the website and some require you to provide materials and equipment and some involve us delivering kits to you prior to the session. All sessions are fully interactive allowing you to ask questions, communicate with other attendees and show your creations and get feedback. All our taught sessions are for a maximum of 12 people and some work on much smaller group sizes depending on the difficulty of the session.

Virtual 1:1 Teaching

We are offering a range of 1:1 tuition in a range of arts and crafts in shorter sessions of 30 minutes at the reduced rate of £10. Multiple sessions can be booked at one time or booked one at a time as you go to suit your needs.

Virtual Kids’ Parties

We are developing our offering of virtual kids parties to cover both arty and crafty areas including JumpingCLAY. Please check out our party page and get in touch for more information. For parties where we provide the materials they will be delivered to the birthday child’s home for distribution by them to the party goers in a safe way.

Virtual Woolly Wednesdays

We have temporarily cancelled evening woolly Wednesdays but we are running morning woolly Wednesdays from 10.30am – 12.30pm each week on Zoom and these sessions are free to attend and you can make a donation should you wish towards our costs and please contact us directly for information on how to do this.

Virtual Book Club

We are excited to be running our book club again virtually and more information can be found here.

Going Forward

Currently we do not believe we will be running any of our socials in person until at least September if not later in the year.

We hope to restart some adult classes and complete started courses in September under strict and appropriate social distancing measures. It is likely that this will involve reduced class sizes to keep people safe.

We may start 1:1 tuition in person sessions during the summer holiday if requested and if it’s safe to do so.

We will not be allowing any pop in sales visits for the foreseeable future all sales of goods will be done remotely and then picked up at an arranged time much like a click and collect service.

Children’s parties in person are unlikely to restart until after October half term at the earliest.

Children’s sessions in person are hoped to restart in October Half Term.

We anticipate that we will not reopen fully until January 2021. Obviously things are constantly changing and we may revise our plans in light of this as time goes on.
