We would love to be able to afford to hold stock of Stylecraft’s Batik Swirls in the studio for use on our new crochet course to make Catherine Blythe’s Spin Me Around Blanket. Therefore we are offering a pre-sale of the new course to our customers and followers at a discounted prize to fund the initial stock purchase.
Each course sold now and in the future will result in a donation from us to ME charity as supported by Catherine Blythe who has kindly let us use her pattern and photographs to promote the course.

The blanket takes 600g of yarn to make a comfortable lap blanket size at 44″/122cm (dependent on tension). This is 3 balls of Stylecraft Batik Swirl of 200g each. Stylecraft Batik Swirl comes in 6 shades:

The course is designed for those who can already crochet at a very basic level. You should be able to chain, slip stitch and treble crochet. It will include 2 sessions that will be 2 hours each with one of our crochet tutors at our studio in Chesterfield (104 Saltergate, S40 1NE). These sessions will cover magic rings, following a pattern, using a stitch marker as well as a brief refresher on stitches for those who may not have crocheted for some time. Initially these will be run either Wednesday 10.30am-12.30pm or Wednesday 7pm-9pm but other days will be available on request. Please note that we will have limited availability at other times and courses purchased during the crowdfunder will need to be redeemed prior to the end of August 2018.
