She loves seeing students gain confidence and develop their unique artistic style. Vicky’s specialism and the focus of her teaching is hand-building, utilizing slabs, coils, and a wide variety of other techniques.
This dedication to teaching is backed by extensive experience in the world of ceramics. With a background in industrial design and an undeniable love for clay, Vicky founded Pottery Homes in 2011. From her home studio near Ashbourne, her business has been dedicated to crafting bespoke house portraits in clay. Her unique ceramic creations have gained recognition, appearing in Country Homes & Interiors Magazine, Derbyshire Life Magazine, and even featured as judge’s examples on The Great Pottery Throwdown 2021.
