1. What’s your favourite place to go for inspiration?
I find learning new techniques really inspiring. Once you’ve learnt how to do something you can push the boundaries with that technique. You can try it in an unusual material or scale, be creative about experimenting and it can result in a really unique finished piece. I also find materials very inspiring, getting my hands on a beautiful piece of lace can set off all sorts of ideas for a finished ceramic piece!
2. What arty or crafty skill would you like to learn?
I would love to have a goat making shoes. I just think it would be great to have shoes that you’ve made yourself, and you could make them really exciting!
3. What is your favourite biscuit?
Hmm, something with chocolate. My favourite is a chocolate Hobnob. yum!
4. We love a cuppa at StraightCurves, how do you have yours?
I like my tea quite strong with a splash of milk. In a handmade cup is best of course!
