Meet Alison Greer, from Love and Stitches Studio. Alison brings over 20 years of creative dressmaking and pattern drafting experience to StraightCurves. A Fashion Graduate of the Surrey Institute of Art & Design, Alison has specialised in creating bespoke occasion wear in collaboration with a range of clients.
With courses, ideal for beginners or for those who want to increase their confidence and experience and stretch outside their comfort zone. She will take participants through a learning journey to develop their skills in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, creating fashionable, wearable clothes.
Inspired by the Slow Fashion movement and a desire to encourage others to create their own wardrobe of stylish clothes, she endeavours to instil an appreciation for the time and work involved in creating beautiful clothes.
