Meet Alison Greer, from Bagladybird – Learn to Sew. Alison comes to StraightCurves with over 20 years of creative dressmaking and pattern drafting experience. A Fashion Graduate of the Surrey Institute of Art & Design, Alison has specialised in creating bespoke occasion wear in collaboration with a range of clients.
With brand new courses, ideal for beginners or for those who want to increase their confidence and experience and stretch outside their comfort zone. Alison will take participants through a learning journey to develop their skills in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, creating fashionable, wearable clothes.
Inspired by the Slow Fashion movement and a desire to encourage others to create their own wardrobe of stylish clothes, Alison endeavours to instil an appreciation for the time and work involved in creating beautiful clothes.
