February Weekend Workshops

We have so many great workshops coming up every weekend in February that I just had to write about it to share them with you.

Beginners’ Book Binding

Saturday 2nd February – 10am – 4pm £54

Book binding for beginners with the lovely Lisa is a great way to spend your Saturday getting creative and learning new skills to create a journal to take home for yet more creativity.

 

 

 

Kimono Dressmaking Workshop

Saturday 9th February – 2pm – 5pm £33

Make this versatile kimono top in an afternoon with Alison our dressmaking tutor. What a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon and what better excuse for a fabric shopping trip before hand to get that perfect print or plain for your top.

 

 

Family Simple Skirt Workshop

Saturday 9th February – 10am – 1pm £33

This workshop is suitable for anyone aged 11 years and over who can use a sewing machine already. A great chance to get creative as a family and make a skirt each in this morning session. You don’t have to have a relative accompany you either you can come along either way and family of any age are welcomed together.

 

 

 

Quilted Storage Pod Workshop

Saturday 16th February – 10am – 3pm £40

Get started on this simple quilting project suitable for those who have never quilted before. You will learn how to use a walking foot to create this great storage pod that can hang anywhere in your home for handy access to whatever you desire. Bring along your own fabric and get creative with Karen. You should already be able to use a sewing machine to attend this workshop.

 

Vase Pottery Making Workshop

 

Pottery Vase Making Workshop

Sunday 24th February – 2pm-4.30pm £29

Spend a relaxing Sunday afternoon with Clare and create your very own pottery vase in this pottery workshop. You will learn about using slabs and experiment with fabric to create patterns and texture. No experience neccessary to take part in this great workshop.
