Wet Felted Pots

We will cover the skill of creating hollow, seamless forms with the aid of templates to create a choice of different styles of bowls and vases.  Use a ready-made shape or create your own with some guidance.  We will cover felting fibres with warm water, soap and friction.  This will be followed by fulling or shrinking the fibres to form the felt vessel.

This a fun and creative workshop is suitable for beginners or those with a basic knowledge of flat wet-felting wishing to develop their skills and go 3D.

Just bring yourself and an apron if you have one as wet felting involves getting a little messy with soap and water!

Take home a completed felt vessel which will simply need to air dry when you return home.  There will also be notes to take with you.
