Wet Felted Flowers

During this relaxed workshop your tutor will show you a variety skills including:

* Laying out fine wool & silk fibres.
* Using pre-felt
* Using the wet felting technique – felting fibres with water, soap and friction.
* Fulling fibres to shrink them
* Adding surface decoration with vintage buttons (optional)

This creative workshop is suitable for beginners or those with a basic knowledge of flat wet-felting wishing to develop their skills.

Just bring yourself and your glasses if you need them as you will receive everything you need for use during the workshop. If you have any allergies or skin sensitivity please feel free to bring your own soap along with you.

You will take home the 3 – 6 wet felted flowers you produce in the workshop, there will be a variety of felt flowers to choose from such as daisies, lilies, petunias. These flowers will then either be formed into a garland or a piece of jewellery for you to take home to dry.
