In this weaving with nature workshop you will spend the whole day getting creative. We will learn a variety of techniques so you can create your own colourful, textured 3D wall-hanging or mobile. This whole day workshop is a great creative escape for anyone who wants to have a go at weaving or improve their existing skills by working with natural materials.
This is an opportunity to spend the day experimenting, playing, weaving and stitching. We will be working with a range of natural materials, colourful and textured yarn. You will learn how to create a loom, weave with natural materials and embellish your created piece.
You could make a wall hanging, a mobile or something more unique the choice is only limited by our creativity. Please note if you start something on a larger scale it may need completing at home with the skills you acquire on the day.

This is a lovely workshop! Dee is an inspiring and skilled tutor who has bags of time and patience. She brought an immense amount of natural materials and we spent the day exploring the possibilities of creating using twigs, yarn, fir cones, leaves and feathers, to name but a few!
