Virtual Festive Star Decorations

We will start off by making the basic star from a mix of materials before adding Christmassy embellishments to make them your own. You can even personalise them for your friends and family.

It is up to you if you turn your sound and video on during the session but we do recommend it so that you can easily ask the tutor questions and get feedback.

Anyone aged 11 years and older how wants to make festive decorations.

The materials you’ll need are:

scrap fabric
scrapbook/patterned paper
old book pages (optional)
Something to stuff your stars with i.e toy stuffing If you don’t have this you can pad them out with whatever you have to hand.
Embellishments such as beads, buttons, lace, ribbon, scrap fabric, cheesecloth
A little bit of plain cotton or calico or something similar
Wool
Letter stamps and ink

If there is anything on the list you don’t have don’t worry, you can always substitute things for something similar.

You will be learning at home so your decorations are all yours to keep along with the skills you learn so you can carry on creating by yourself.
