Learn how to design and create your own rag rug using traditional hooking and prodding techniques. Rag rugs also known as ‘Proddy’ rugs, are made as the name implies, by prodding or poking strips of fabric through hessian or linen from the back side. You will make your own rag rugging project with a variety of recycled materials and learn how to use different fabrics to create shaggy and loopy effects, using a range of techniques and tools.

Just had a lovely day learning rag tugging. Dee was a good tutor, as I learned all the techniques. She helped me sort out my pattern on hessian, very patient. Would recommend anyone to have ago at this workshop.
