Pottery Hare

We will be using a wide variety of techniques in this full day workshop. This stylised hare is designed to be easier to make than a realistic sculpture, but your artistic flare can run wild with this and you can aim for a more realistic finish if you prefer. A choice of gloss or matt finishes will also be available.

All techniques will be demonstrated, and all materials and equipment will be supplied.

We will build a hare using slabs and coils, sculpting its head to cover different techniques applicable to a wide range of projects. We have a full day to enjoy bringing our sculptures to life!

This workshop is more skilled, but beginners are welcome and encouraged. I will carefully guide you through each step and be on hand for help.

All materials and equipment are provided. While we won't get too messy, we recommend not wearing your best white top. Clay should wash out, but feel free to bring an apron if you prefer.

During this day workshop we will have an hour break for lunch. Lunch is not included so please bring your own or you can pop out to buy some. Tea and coffee are provided throughout the day.

Your creations cannot be taken home on the day. Your pottery will need to be dried, fired and glazed to your choice of colour. They will be ready to collect at your convenience from the venue 3-4 weeks later.
