Create a cute needle felted sheep in this fun and friendly intermediate workshop. Learn how to sculpt local wool, using needle felting techniques and a wire armature. Then add finishing touches to bring real character to your model.
Needle felting involves plunging barbed needles into either wool tops or carded wool. The barbs catch the fibres and gradually felt them together. It’s a great way to add detail to wet-felted work and to create 3D sculptures.
This workshop supports a local women’s refuge, as the wool has been purchased from the charity’s farm.

Another happy three hours spent losing myself in creating a fluffy sheep. It is so relaxing and creative and Carol is lovely. Looking forward to the next workshop.
