Introduction

This mixed media drawing course is a great way to learn and develop your drawing and explore different mediums. In each session, your tutor will guide you in fun new drawing exercises using a variety of mediums. You’ll get to try your hand at drawing animals, birds, still life and portraiture. By the end of the course, you will have gained some fantastic new ideas and skills to inspire you.

Session schedule

Each Session will explore a different aspect of mixed media drawing.

Session one
Working with ink, coffee, and soft pastels to draw an amazing animal.

Session Two
Exploring how collage and pastels can be used to create fantastic still life drawings.

Session Three
Creating expressive, arty faces using charcoal, white acrylic paint, and watercolours.

Session Four
Combining acrylics, ink and oil pastels to produce beautiful birds.

Session Five
Replay, have a go at your favourite mediums and experiment combining them in different ways.
