Loom Knitting – Hat or Cowl

We will start with a demonstration, presentation and skill building session that will cover the basics of using a loom – casting on, knitting rows and finally casting off.
You can choose between making a hat or a cowl – the techniques are pretty much the same!

This workshop is suitable for those with no knowledge of how to use a knitting loom – you don’t even need to have touched wool before to be successful on this workshop!

Just bring yourself as you will receive everything you need for use during the workshop.

There will be a lunch break if you would like anything more substantial you will have time to wander into town or please feel free to bring along your own food - we do have a fridge for storage too.

All the loom knitting skills you learn and your finished or part finished project depending on what you chose to make and how speedy you are! If for any reason you do not complete your project in the session, additional time will be agreed at no extra cost.

This workshop also includes two balls of yarn so if you only use one in the session you will be able to take an additional ball home with you at no extra cost unless specified otherwise.
