Family Simple Skirt Workshop

Alison will guide you through how to make a simple skirt in your desired size (it doesn't need to be for you) to take home and wear with pride.

Suitable for anyone aged 11 to 111 this family workshop is a great introduction to dressmaking for those who already know how to use a sewing machine to sew in a straight-ish line.

You will need to bring the waist & hip measurement for the person you are making for (if that is not you) and between 0.5m and 2m of cotton or polycotton fabric dependent on the size you are making.

Babies & Toddlers – 0.5m

Age 4-11 – 1m

Age 11-16 – 1.25m

Adults – you will need 2x the finished length you would like your skirt to be. (For example: if you would like your skirt to measure approximately 1m from your waist to the hem, you will need 2m.)

Your finished skirt to wear with pride and the ability to make another one at home!
