Our Drawing Laboratory course is the ideal springboard for exploring different styles, subject matter and media. There is so much to discover in drawing, with endless techniques and materials to try. In this course, we’ll experiment with different media and subject matter, working in an expressive and creative way. It’s a great way to loosen up your art and discover exciting new approaches to drawing.
Each session focuses on a different medium, from acrylics and oil pastels exploring birds, to charcoal drawings of fantastic faces. Lisa will guide you step-by-step through a range of techniques, helping you get the most from each medium.
Some previous drawing experience is helpful, but don’t worry if you’re still developing your skills. The course is designed to help you improve and gain confidence. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to make creative choices and decide how your pieces will look. This is a drawing laboratory, after all — a place to experiment, discover and follow your creative instincts!
