Children’s Sewing Club

Sessions run mostly on Sundays but occassionally at other times too. They normally 2 hours long and we will work on whichever project you have chosen.

Children's Sewing Club is suitable for those aged 8-18 who already know how to use a sewing machine.

If you haven’t completed our Young Sewing Machines Skills Course, you will need to complete a free 20 minute “Sewing Machine Driving Test” to make sure you are able to operate a machine safely – please contact us to arrange an appointment for this before booking a space on a session.

Whether it’s a soft toy, a coat for your dog, a beanbag or a cosy onesie – just bring your idea, pattern and the materials and we’ll help you bring it to life!

If you’re stuck for inspiration, we have some “pattern packages” available which include the pattern and materials – please contact us for details, we’ll need at least 7 days notice to get these together for you!

Whatever it is that you have been working on and hopefully each session will increase your skills, confidence and accuracy.
