Braided Jewellery

This whole day workshop on techniques for creating braided jewellery is taught by our experienced tutor Dee. She will be there to lead you step-by-step through a variety of techniques.

We will create colourful, textured and patterned braided jewellery using braiding, cordage, plaiting, sewing and beading. You can choose from colourful fabric, fibre and yarn to design and make your own bracelets, pendants, hair clips, key fobs, rings, brooches, earrings, bookmarks, necklaces and other small intricate items.

We will braid strong lengths for bracelets and necklaces, then decorate by sewing and adding beads for decoration. Metal findings will be provided to complete your chosen pieces as required.
