In this beginners’ book binding workshop we will make a junk journal from recycled items. This could be things like magazine pages, patterned paper, music sheets, envelopes, maps, paper bags, greetings cards to name just a few! It can be used like any other journal but is much more visual. Full of pockets, pull outs, and flaps they are often used for keeping a diary full of keepsakes or as an art journal.
Give yourselves a treat, a day of crafting and creating! Create a junk journal from start to finish that is full of character and totally unique. Make a cover, learn how to sew in your pages and decorate with embellishments to make it your own. This is a bookbinding workshop that is full of fun! Hurry up before it’s fully ‘booked’ 🙂

Second time doing this workshop and just as enjoyable as the first one. Different techniques from the previous session added interest and with Lisa’s expertise I was given the confidence to make a completed book that I was very happy with. I look forward to attending another workshop soon and can highly recommend to anyone who might be unsure of signing up, as Lisa, the tutor, is very good at making everyone feel comfortable and confident with what they are doing.
