Knitted Easter Cuties

Tutor: Karen Rogers
Length: 2 hours
Max Learners: 6

This is an Egg-cellent Easter workshop to refine your knitting skills and create a cute character. You can choose to make either a chick or a bunny, and the workshop includes two Cadbury’s Creme Eggs! What more do you need to know?!

Who Is This Workshop For?

This workshop is suitable for those who are already confident at the knitting bit, and who are aged 10 and up and up and up! If you need some help with casting on, casting off, pattern reading, increasing and decreasing stitches this is the workshop for you!

We will start by casting on using the cable method, and will move on to cover skills such as reading a simple pattern, casting off both normally and by gathering, and increasing and decreasing stitches.

Once you have completed the knitting part of your chick or bunny, you will then learn how to stuff, sew up and embellish your character using eyes and decorative ribbons.

What Should I Bring With Me?

Just bring yourself as you will receive everything you need in the session, including wool, knitting needles, tapestry needles, safety eyes, toy stuffing, decorative ribbon and not one but two Cadbury’s Creme Eggs – one for your chick or bunny to cover and one for you to eat along the way.

If you want to bring along a special piece of ribbon then feel free, though we have an extensive selection for you to choose from!

What Do I Take Home?

Your completed bunny… and perhaps a Creme Egg or two if you haven’t already eaten them!

You will also take the pattern with you, so you can use your skills to make fantastic Easter gifts for your loved ones!
