Crochet Multi-layered Flower

Tutor: Joanne Robinson
Length: 2 hours
Max Learners: 6

Learn to make lovely multi-layered crochet flowers that can be used to adorn your other crochet work, be used as a brooch or badge, or to pretty-up your accessories! We will create a lovely flower, and then how to build on this shape to create lots of layers and to give the project a 3D dimension. We will also be working with a magic loop, and discovering the best ways to create them.

Who Is This Workshop For?

This workshop is suitable for anybody with basic crochet skills aged 14 or over – you should have either completed our Beginners’ Crochet Course or be proficient in chain, double and treble crochet stitches.

We will start by looking at different examples of multi layered crochet flowers. You can then choose your colours and, guided by the tutor, create your own 2 or 3 layered flower.

Depending on your crochet speed you could add a crochet leaf too. We will then complete our flowers with a brooch back so that you can wear them with pride.

What Should I Bring With Me?

Just bring yourself. All materials will be provided along with plenty of tea and biscuits. You can bring your own crochet hook if you prefer (size 4mm), but hooks will be provided to use in the sessions.

What Do I Take Home?

You will take home your completed crochet flower brooch and full instructions for the flowers and leaves to allow you to continue your crochet garden at home.
